Who we are

AIdea runs advertising and patient-enquiry analytics for medical and dental clinics in Taiwan. We act as a service provider to those clinics; the clinics decide which advertising campaigns use this tracker.

What a tracked click records

• Advertising identifiers that Google Ads places in the tracking URL: gclid, campaign id, ad group id, creative id, keyword text, match type, device type and network.
• The time of the click.
• A keyed one-way hash (HMAC-SHA256) derived from the visitor's IP address and browser user-agent. The key is held only on our servers. The raw IP address and user-agent are not stored and cannot be recovered from the hash.

We do not set cookies, do not use browser storage, do not read the destination page, and do not collect names, phone numbers or any form input through this endpoint. Clicks whose user agent identifies a crawler or an automated check are not recorded.

Why we record it

The hash lets us tell, within a six-hour window, that the same device later opened a clinic's LINE official account through our redirect. This is used only to report to the clinic how many LINE enquiries each Google Ads campaign and keyword produced. It is not used for profiling, retargeting, or sharing with other advertisers.

Legal basis and sharing

Processing is based on the clinic's legitimate interest in measuring its own advertising, and on our contract with the clinic. Click records are shared only with the clinic whose ad was clicked, through our reporting dashboard. We do not sell the data and do not pass it to third parties other than our hosting providers (Vercel, Supabase), which process it on our instructions.

Retention

Click records are kept for as long as we provide reporting to the clinic. They are deleted when the clinic ends its engagement with us, or earlier at the clinic's request.

Your rights

Because we store no direct identifiers, we cannot look up records by name, phone or e-mail. If you believe your data was processed unlawfully, or have questions, contact ai@aideamed.com and we will respond within 30 days. Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act applies; EU visitors may also exercise their GDPR rights through the same address.
